Common Questions

What Is Energy Work?

Energy work is based on the idea that we are more than bones, muscles, organs, and chemistry. While modern medicine excels at understanding the body’s physical structure, many traditions have also recognized that there are subtler aspects of being human that influence how we experience life.

For thousands of years, systems, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, have described the body as having an energetic aspect that works together with the physical body. When that subtle aspect is functioning well, people often experience ease, vitality, and resilience. When it becomes disrupted, life may begin to feel heavier, more restricted, or out of balance, sometimes long before anything appears on a medical test.

Energy work is the broad name given to approaches that work with this subtler aspect of a living system. Different practitioners work with energy in different ways. Some focus on moving it, balancing it, clearing it, or directing it.

Tina’s approach to Energy work is not to change a person’s energy directly, she typically mirrors the subtle patterns influencing the living system. Recognition creates the opportunity for the system to reorganize to its own intelligence and in its own time from dissonance to coherence.

Energy work is not a replacement for medical care. It can be viewed as complementary, as it explores a different aspect of human experience. One that many people find meaningful alongside conventional healthcare.

How Does House Healing Work?

Many people experience that homes have a presence beyond their physical structure. A place can feel welcoming or unsettling, peaceful or heavy, even when nothing obvious explains why.

House healing is based on the idea that a home is more than the walls, roof, and foundation that make up its physical structure. Like the people who live within it, a home can be understood as a living system with both physical and subtle aspects.

Many traditions throughout history have recognized that places can influence the way we feel. Some have attributed this to the movement of the land, others to the history of a place, its environment, or the relationships and experiences that have unfolded there. While the explanations differ, they share the understanding that our surroundings can affect how we experience life.

House healing is the broad term used for practices that work with these subtler influences. Different practitioners approach house healing in different ways. Some focus on clearing, blessing, balancing, or changing the energetic qualities of a space. Others work with the land, natural energy lines, or the history of a property.

There is no single way to practice house healing. The approach depends on the practitioner and the philosophy guiding the work.

What Is Coherence?

Coherence is the natural organization of a living system.

Imagine a flock of birds turning together across the sky. There is no single bird telling the others where to go, yet they move as though they are one. Their movement is organized, responsive, and alive. Living systems can function in much the same way.

When a person, home, land, animal, or business is organizing coherently, life often feels more natural. Decisions become clearer. Relationships feel less strained. There is a greater sense of flow, ease, and vitality, even when life itself remains challenging.

Coherence doesn’t mean life is perfect. It doesn’t mean difficult experiences disappear. It means the living system is responding from its own intelligence rather than continually organizing around patterns that no longer serve it.

In Tina’s work, coherence is never something she creates. It is something already present within every living system. Recognition creates the opportunity for that natural coherence to become more fully expressed.

What Is The Difference Between Recognition And Healing?

The words recognition and healing are often used together, but they point toward different ideas.

Healing is commonly understood as moving from something that is wrong toward something that is better. It often begins with the assumption that something needs to be repaired, resolved, or restored.

Recognition begins somewhere else. Recognition doesn’t start by asking, “What’s wrong?” It begins by asking, “What has been difficult to see?”

Rather than trying to change who you are, recognition creates the opportunity to see yourself, your experiences, or the patterns shaping your life with clarity. Sometimes that clarity reveals something you’ve always known but couldn’t quite put into words. Sometimes it brings awareness to something that had become so familiar you no longer noticed it.

From that recognition, your relationship to what you’re experiencing may begin to change. For some people, that change feels like healing. For others, it feels like relief, understanding, more openness, or a renewed sense of possibility.

The recognition itself isn’t the healing. Recognition creates the opportunity for something new to become available. What unfolds from there belongs to you.

This is why Tina doesn’t approach people as though they are broken or in need of fixing. Her work assumes that every person already carries their own wisdom, capacity, and wholeness. Recognition simply creates the conditions where those qualities become easier to notice and relate to.

Healing is not something another person can give you. Recognition simply expands what is available. What you recognize, what you choose, and what unfolds from there has always been yours.

Why Can’t Someone Heal Me?

Many people come to this work after trying to find the right person, the right method, or the right experience that will finally change how they feel.

It’s a hope.

There are people whose presence, wisdom, or support can profoundly influence our lives. They may offer insight, guidance, comfort, or experiences that help us see ourselves differently.

But no one can live your life for you. No one can choose your thoughts, your relationships, your responses, or the meaning you give to your experiences. Those have always belonged to you.

This is why Tina approaches her work differently. She creates opportunities for recognition. Recognition expands what is available. It allows people to see themselves, their patterns, and their experiences from a perspective that may not have been available before.

From there, each person decides what they do with what they have recognized. Sometimes that leads to you being able to heal yourself. Sometimes it leads to understanding that has you no longer fighting yourself. Sometimes it changes a relationship, a decision, or the way you experience your life that is profound. Whatever unfolds belongs to you.

This perspective doesn’t diminish the value of practitioners, therapists, facilitators, or shamans. Their presence are often a very important part of someone’s journey. It simply recognizes that lasting change cannot be handed from one person to another. It only becomes real when you live it.

Why Does The Body Matter More Than The Mind?

The body recognizes safety before the mind does.

The mind is extraordinary at analyzing, comparing, remembering, and imagining. It constantly searches for explanations and solutions, believing that if it can understand enough, it will finally feel at ease. The mind is constantly evaluating, comparing, anticipating, remembering, and trying to make sense of life. It can convince itself that everything is fine while the body remains tense. It can also imagine danger when the body is completely at ease.

Yet many people have experienced the opposite. They understand why they feel the way they do, yet their body continues to hold tension, brace against life, or remain unsettled.

The body speaks a different language. It doesn’t organize experience through thoughts. It organizes through direct experience. It knows contraction and openness. It knows holding and release. It knows when it is bracing against life and when it is participating in it. When the body begins to recognize ease, openness, and presence, the mind will follows. Very different from the body that will not follow the mind.

What Is QCE?

A Quantum Consciousness Experience (QCE) is a guided journey into expanded awareness, creating the opportunity to explore consciousness beyond everyday experience and discover what becomes available through your own direct knowing.
